Laura Ganley, Principal

It is my honor to support the Lucketts Lions community as your principal! I am a life-long educator with a passion for celebrating student strengths and personalizing education so that all students can reach their goals.  Prior to joining the Lion family, I have had the pleasure of serving in the role of assistant principal in two different LCPS schools and as a staff development specialist and coach in the area of educational technology.  My first role in education was in the elementary classroom at Rolling Ridge Elementary, which is a role that I cherish.  I am an elementary education graduate of James Madison University.  I earned my masters in Instructional Technology from George Mason University and my Educational Leadership certificate from The George Washington University.

Outside of school, I live with my husband of 25+ years and my two children, who are each starting off on their own careers.  I enjoy exercising, spending time in nature, and playing with my rescue pup, who is completely spoiled by my whole family.

Please don’t hesitate to reach out if I can be of assistance to you.  When the important adults in a child's life work together, they can acheive to their highest potential!
