We are currently studying ways to make our car loop safer for our students during arrival and dismissal. Please help us to keep everyone safe by following the procedures listed below:
When in the car loop, please pull up as far as possible and allow for your child to get out at any point along the sidewalk. This will allow for more cars to drop off students at one time.
Parents, please do not get out of your cars when in the car loop. If you need to get out of your car to help your child, we ask that you park in the parking lot and walk your child around the car loop.
No drop offs are allowed from the parking lot. If you need to bypass the car line, you will need to park in the lot and walk your child around the car loop to the entrance doors.
When entering campus, please park in one line so that buses and daycare vans can enter campus.
Please note that any student arriving at their classroom after the 8:00 bell is considered tardy. This would include any students waiting in cars in the car loop. We will do our best to clear the car loop in a timely manner, but keep in mind that weather will directly impact the number of cars driving children to school each day.
While in the parking lot, please only park in an identified parking spot. There is no parking allowed along the curb for any reason in the parking lot. Parking along the curb causes a blockage in the lane, and is also unsafe for our students walking/playing near the playground. This area is already marked with “No Parking” signs, so please do not park along this curb.
Please note that we will continue to monitor our arrivals and pick-ups, and may make some additional changes in the future.
