2023-2024 Speech and Debate

Welcome to the new speech and debate season!

Our first meeting of the year will be on September 5th in L403 after school!

We will meet on Thursdays after-school, 4:30-5:20 PM for this school year!

Team dues for this year will be $75 per person. The fee can be paid through the payment portal. Dues should be turned in no later than September 15th. LCPS covers some of the costs of transportation and judge compensation for tournaments, but this leaves uncovered expenditures for registration fees, research resources, and other club fees. Student membership dues help cover these costs and cover the cost of your team spirit wear. I do not want a student’s ability to cover all or part of the dues to prevent participation in this amazing activity - please feel free to contact us if you cannot pay the fees and we will get it worked out!
