Begin your college application journey through SchooLinks! Here is a walk-through of how to navigate the College Application Manager: CAM

Don’t forget…

  1. Create a Common App account

  2. Complete FERPA Waiver in Common App

  3. Complete Onboard tasks in SchooLinks (access through LCPSGO)

  4. Link SchooLinks to Common App (You can only complete this task once you've completed Steps 1-3)

  5. Complete the Transcript Request form for your school counselor. Be sure to turn this into the counseling office at least two weeks before your college application deadline. Click here to make your own copy of this form. Copies of this form are located in the school counseling office.  

  6. Complete your Student Insight Sheet in SchooLinks. Instructions found HERE

  7. Book your individual senior meeting with your school counselor! Link HERE

Parents

Step 1: Complete the LCPS Transcript Release Form. Follow the steps below to complete this action item

1. Parents/Guardians please complete the Online Verification through ParentVue. If assistance is needed, please review ParentVue access information here. 

2. Complete Online Verification documents to include the LCPS Transcript Release Form RT-10. For more information please visit the Transcripts Tab on the SchooLinks/Student Services website. The chart found at the bottom of the page provides detailed information regarding waiver selections for transcripts and letters of recommendation. Once the form is submitted, the information will be sent automatically to your student’s school counseling team. 
Please note: Once the “LCPS Transcript Release Form RT-10” is completed through Online Verification, no changes may be made. Any updates or changes will need to be documented through an alternative permission form provided by your student’s school counseling team.

Early Release

Early Release: Seniors Only! - If you are requesting early release, we must have the LCPS Parent Request for Waiver of Full Day Schedule permission click completed by a parent/guardian. In addition, you must have a conversation with your school counselor to discuss this option.
