The school system no longer serves as issuing officers for work permits. 

There is an electronic Employment Certificate Application System. 
You must be aged 14 or 15 to apply for an Employment Certificate and you MUST have a promise of employment PRIOR to registering.

There are three steps:

1. Youth Registration

2. Employer Registration

3. Parent/Guardian/Custodian Registration
