Gifted Education Program Goals

The goals of the LCPS Gifted Education Department are based on Art Costa's 21st century thinking skills.  

Our SEARCH curriculum is developed to help students:

 - become divergent creative thinkers who recognize problems and solve them.

 - construct personal meaning and understanding of others and of the world around them.

 - develop the capacity for self assessment (ownership of the learning).
