Students entering kindergarten, 7th and 12th grade have required immunizations. Once your student has been immunized, provide proof of vaccination to the school nurse any time before the first day of school. Students without the appropriate documentation will not be able to start school on the first day of school. See www.lcps.org/Immunizations for more details.

This year, over 3,300 teams competed, with ACL's 20 teams achieving notable success, including 13 advancing to the Semifinals, the highest number in ACL history. ACL's teams were categorized in Platinum, Gold, and Silver Tiers, with six in the Platinum Tier. Team “Pizza Packets” won 1st in Virginia and 2nd nationally, while “Decepticons” placed 3rd in Virginia. The “Wiresharks” also excelled in the Silver Tier. Coaches Jeremy Staples and Jesse Field expressed gratitude to sponsors Ocean Solutions, Speak Bilingual, and Watermark Woods for their support, which covers costs for the teams. Additionally, Ocean Solutions has committed to ongoing support and provided motivational talks for students, alongside work-based learning opportunities in cybersecurity and Cisco pathways.
