Dear Loudoun County Public Schools Students and Families:

The first goal of the One LCPS: 2027 Strategic Plan for Excellence is to empower students. In support of this goal, the Loudoun County Public Schools (LCPS) Program of Studies provides valuable information to guide students and families as they make informed decisions about the many opportunities and pathways available to our middle and high school students.

The LCPS Program of Studies serves as an important reference as students navigate their journey as an engaged learner in LCPS. Within the Program of Studies, you will find specific information about available courses, special programs, standardized testing, graduation requirements, career clusters, and much more. In addition to utilizing the Program of Studies, I encourage you to reach out to your student’s school for additional information and support in navigating decisions about the academic pathways available in Loudoun County Public Schools.

Loudoun County Public Schools encourages students and their families to partner with school staff members, including teachers, school counselors, and administrators, to develop the strongest personalized and tailored plans to support students' long-term goals. Together, we can prepare students for their post-secondary options, including college, career training, military service, and/or employment.
