What is the Cross-Categorical Special Education Program at Sugarland Elementary School?

Cross-Categorical Special Education Program works with the classroom teachers and staff to meet the students’ individual needs so they can access the general education curriculum.  Students enrolled in this program work in the general education setting, self-contained, and resource settings based on the Individualized Educational Program (IEP) of the students. 

Students in this program are working on mastery of grade level SOLs and goals and objectives of their IEPs.
