We are thrilled to be your music teachers as you embark on your flight at Cardinal Ridge Elementary School! CRE Scholars in grades K through 5 meet with their music teachers once a week. Each music instructional time is  50 minutes. Through performing, creating, responding, and connecting,  students will develop their music skills in the following areas: rhythm, melody, harmony, history, form and expression, movement, orchestral and world instruments, multicultural music and literature. Swoop Troop
Swoop Troop is a choral ensemble for scholars in 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades. Scholars need no prior music or vocal training, and no audition is required. Swoop Troop provides a safe and welcoming environment for scholars to develop their voice and learn musicianship, diction, theory, solfege, and musical literacy. Additionally, Swoop Troop is a service ensemble and scholars in this group will be performing at various school-wide and community-wide events. 

This year, Swoop Troop will be an After School Club through PTO. PTO afterschool clubs run from 2:30-3:30. Cost and specific days will be updated soon!
