    To request a letter confirming your status as an "approved home schooler, "     please e-mail your request here with the following information:

  • Your name, mailing address and phone number

  • Your child's name and date of birth

  • The date by which you need the letter

To enroll for the in-classroom component through an online provider, click here.  The cost is $109 and the 90 minute educational component listed above is an additional $14.

IN-CAR COMPONENT:

For information regarding the in-car portion of the course, refer to the Home-Schooled In-Car Driver Education Information Sheet.

To apply for authorization to teach the in-car portion to your child, complete a Home-Schooled In-Car Driver Education Parental Authorization Application (HS 1). Attach a letter from the school division superintendent or designee acknowledging that the child is home-schooled OR a copy of notification to the school division superintendent or designee of your intent to home school the child, enclose the original proof of completion of the classroom portion of the Driver Education program, and mail to:

A separate HS-1 Form must be submitted for each child.
