General Registration Requirements
Loudoun County Public Schools welcomes you and is glad you will be joining our school division!
The pre-registration portal for kindergarten and all students in grades 1-12 who are new to LCPS for the 2024/25 school year is open. Registration for the 2025/26 school year opens Jan. 6, 2025. Online pre-registration is the preferred method to register a new or returning LCPS student. Once you submit your registration online, your school will contact you within five days to schedule your registration appointment. If you are not contacted by your school’s registrar, please contact your school’s registrar directly to schedule a registration appointment. Registrar contact information is located on each school’s webpage. Below are steps to guide your registration process.
Remember that online pre-registration is only for:
Students, grades kindergarten-12, who are new to LCPS
Current LCPS pre-kindergarten students entering kindergarten
Students who were formerly enrolled and may be returning to LCPS
Students who are currently enrolled do not need to re-register.

Parents of students entering 1st through 12th grades can follow these instructions to enroll their child. To enroll a student in kindergarten, please see the Kindergarten Registration page.
Registering your kindergartener when you already have students in LCPS
In your web browser, go to the ParentVue website.
Log in with your existing ParentVue credentials.
If you have students currently enrolled, you may “exclude” them from the new year pre-registration process.
