AP Testing

INFORMATION ABOUT AP TESTING DATES AND FORMS WILL BE AVAILABLE HERE SOON

The College Board has created an online AP test registration system that will go into effect for the 2019-2020 school year. As part of this change, the College Board has moved up the AP test registration deadline to November. The College Board’s research indicates that the earlier registration deadline improves student engagement throughout the year. The new registration system does not include a payment portal, so families will continue to use the LCPS payment portal or pay by check/cash at the high school.

Parents and guardians should note the LCPS registration deadline of November 1, versus the previous deadline of March 1. Payment for the test(s) will be collected at the time of registration, $40 of which is non-refundable. There is no change in the exam fee. We recognize that this change may require revised planning, so we wanted to inform you as soon as possible.

For questions regarding the on-line payment portal, you may contact the Office of Assessment Services at 540-751-2590
