It is an honor to continue as principal at Hamilton Elementary School. I live in Charles Town, WV with my three sons and husband, Scott. I am originally from Rochester, NY, and received my undergraduate degree from SUNY Fredonia.

I am looking forward to another year of learning, fun, and success for all! As always, our teachers are devoted to continuing strong instructional practices, keeping a focus on learning that encourages students to be problem solvers, and strive for deeper learning-

I encourage everyone to help students embrace mistakes as part of the learning process. Making mistakes and overcoming obstacles in learning is just part of the path to mastery. No matter where students consider themselves to be in terms of intellect and skill, with hard work and perseverance they can develop, grow and achieve.
