Welcome to Hamilton's Visual ART program.

Art class at Hamilton focuses on foundational and basic art concepts along side essential knowledge in the Visual Arts. 

I believe that art is an effective tool that has the ability to enhances a child sense of well-being.  My aim is to introduce the visual arts to students while providing opportunities for exploration, skill development, sharing and play. One focus of my teaching is the importance of a sense of place. Many of our explorations will be centered around the natural world, self, family, community, culture, globalization and time. I believe that art education holds many wonderful possibilities for our students.
