Eric Stewart started his career in Loudoun in 1987 at Blue Ridge Middle School as a 6th grade long term substitute math teacher. The next year he was one of 26 teachers hired in all of Loudoun County (In 2017, LCPS welcomed 800 new staff) and worked at LCHS as a math teacher. He was later a dean at Broad Run HS, assistant principal at Simpson MS, principal at Sully ES, principal at Smart’s Mill MS, LCPS Director of Curriculum and Instruction, and since 2012 principal at Harmony MS.
He is a graduate of the University of Kentucky and George Mason University and has been an adjunct instructor at Strayer University and George Mason University. He is an avid outdoorsman and loves fishing for large fish.
This is Mrs. Hepner's 20th year with Loudoun County Public Schools and her 17th year here at Harmony Middle School. She previously taught English to students in grades 6, 7, and 8 at Harmony before becoming a grade level dean. As assistant principal, some of Mrs. Hepner's duties include testing, school improvement plan, and professional development. She loves the middle school years and enjoys building relationships with the students.
A native Virginian, she is a graduate of the University of Virginia where she received her Bachelor of Arts and Masters of Teaching. She also has an Educational Administration certification from Shendandoah University. In her spare time, she loves travelling, reading good books, hiking, and cheering on her children. She is an enthusiastic UVA sports fan and also loves cheering on our Washington Capitals and Nationals.
Eric McGrady began his career with Loudoun County Public Schools in 2009, as a first year teacher at J.L. Simpson Middle School. He taught U.S. History to 6th and 7th grade students, at Simpson, until 2018. The following year, he moved to Harmony Middle School as a grade level dean, where he spent four years working with students from all grade levels. Mr. McGrady's responsibilities as assistant principal include attendance, special education, and professional development.
Eric graduated from Shepherd University, Norwich University, and Shenandoah University with degrees in Social Studies Education, Military History, and Administration. He is a husband and father to two daughters who are 7 and 9 years old and a son who is 3. He loves most outdoor activities and enjoys sharing those with friends and family.
