The secondary world language program begins in the 7th grade. Choice of languages include French I & II, German I & II, Latin I & II, Spanish I & II and Spanish for Fluent Speakers. At the middle school level all courses are for high school credits.

LCPS World Languages & Cultures focuses on language skills and preparation for students to have a broad understanding of the world, proficiency in other languages and knowledge of other cultures.
