Gap Year Information
A gap year is a period of time that students use to explore areas of interest. The gap year does not have to last a full year and is typically taken by students between high school and college. The most common programs are volunteer service programs and international travel, study, or work programs.
USA Gap Year Fairs is a national circuit of events that bring together reputable Gap Year organizations, interested students and parents, high school college counselors and Gap Year experts. See the links below for their website and others with helpful information.

Recently she expanded her focus to help teens increase workplace readiness, via a professional skills course called LaunchPoint. Katherine has four sons who have all taken Gap Years. She is an Accredited Gap Year Consultant, a Professional member of the Independent Educational Consultants Association, and speaks and publishes regularly about the profound impact that Gap Years have on young adults.
