NOVA tour 2025

The Dual Enrollment and Outreach & Recruitment team is hosting Discover NOVA – Open House events for prospective and current dual enrollment students and their families. These events will showcase academic programs, student support resources, and how to maximize dual enrollment credits—plus, attendees will get to tour the campuses! 

Students can choose from any of the following campus events. Registration is now open: https://forms.gle/eHR2q5CnnN7AzKVy8.

  • Loudoun Campus — March 6, 4-7 PM

  • Alexandria Campus — March 13,  4-7 PM

  • Annandale Campus — March 27, 4-7 PM

  • Woodbridge Campus — April 3,  4-7 PM

  • Manassas Campus — April 24, 4-7 PM

Students who attend will be entered to win a $500 NOVA scholarship!

IET Career Days

FREE career exploration and awareness events to showcase Information and Engineering Technology (IET) programs for high school students considering a 1, 2 or 4-year education pathway to pursue a technology career. Students will tour the campus and learn about NOVA’s IET programs, NOVA admissions, dual enrollment, and transfer opportunities. Transportation available for schools sending more than 25 students and boxed lunches provided. Registration still open for Alexandria, Annandale, and Loudoun! See attached flyer for more information and student registration links for each campus.

IET Summer Bridge Program

This FREE program for current high school juniors and seniors provides students an opportunity to explore Engineering Technology, Data Center Operations, Information Technology, and Computer Science through hands-on activities and industry site visits throughout the summer. Students will be introduced to NOVA's campuses, learn more about student services and financial aid, and have opportunities to do coursework for college credit or an industry certification. Students who complete all required components of the program may be eligible for a $200 stipend. Application deadline is Sunday March 9th. Engineering Tech Career Scholars Program

This program for graduating high school seniors seeks to strengthen pathways toward in-demand engineering technology (ET) careers. NOVA will recruit students to become ET Career Scholars through a FREE 1-year program focusing on either data center operations (DCO) or semiconductor manufacturing. Students participate in a summer bridge program, complete courses as a cohort for the ET or DCO career studies certificate, participate in career preparation activities, and receive a guaranteed internship interview for an apprenticeship. E-Summer Program

The E-Summer Program @ NOVA  is sponsored by the Hispanic Association of Colleges & Universities (HACU) and Dominion Energy as part of HACU’s Building Hispanic Talent Initiative (BHTI). This program is designed to introduce students to STEM careers, including careers in the energy industry. This program is open to rising juniors and seniors who meet the VCCS readiness standards for enrollment defined below. Students will earn college credit, learn from industry leaders, and visit a local facility to learn more about careers in STEM.

The E-Summer program is located at the Woodbridge campus and runs for 6-weeks from Monday, July 7 – Wednesday, August 13, 2025. Classes meet in person, on campus, on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Lunch is provided.
