My name is Ms. Wetmore.  I am in my 13th year with LCPS.  Prior to joining the Timberwolves, I worked at the middle school level at Harper Park and Farmwell (2 years) as an itenerint, and I was a part of the inaugural Trailside staff, and was the Health and Physical Education department chair for 4 years.  I then moved to the high school level, teaching for 4 years at Riverside.  I also had the pleasure and opportunity to open Riverside as a head coach for Girl's Varsity Basketball, and I joined the Girl's Varsity Soccer coaching staff as an assistant in the 2nd year.

Loudoun County is my home.  I graduated from Loudoun Valley High School prior to attending and graduating from three Universities - West Virginia University (B.S. in Athletic Coaching), Shepherd University (B.S. in Education Health & PE), and Shenandoah University (Master's in Administration).

I look forward to another amazing year at Trailside Middle School as the 7th grade Dean.

I am excited to work with all TMS students and families this year! The 2024-2025 school year will be my ninth year working as a School Counselor.  Previously I have worked at Lightridge High School, River Bend Middle School, and Manassas Park Elementary School.

I was born and raised in New York before relocating to Virginia to begin my career as a School Counselor.  In my free time I enjoy spending time with son Teddy and husband Alex, and going on long walks with my dog Luna. I also love watching football to root for my Nittany Lions and Buffalo Bills!

As a school counselor, I will support students’ academic, social/emotional, and career development through classroom counseling lessons, small group counseling and individual counseling.  Additionally, as a TMS School Counselor I will assist students as they learn to become their best self, in school, at home, and in their community.

I look forward to partnering with families, teachers, staff and the community to help students reach their fullest potential! Feel free to contact me if you have any questions or concerns. I look forward to a wonderful year!

Greetings! I’m Lisa Moore and I’m thrilled to be a part of the pack this year as a 7th Grade Counselor. I am finishing my final internship at the College of William & Mary with a Masters in Counseling and hold an MBA and Bachelors from the University of Colorado. Before counseling I worked as a college admissions director, a career counselor and trainer for the Department of Labor, and a preschool teacher.

I am a military spouse, and my husband and I are happily outnumbered by our three kids, ages 10, 8, and 6. At home, when I’m not playing mediator or chauffeur, you’ll find me leading a cub scout den, practicing yoga, singing showtunes, or diving into a Marvel movie or Lego project.

Middle school is such a pivotal time—full of discovery, and sometimes fear. As a counselor I work to support students with their academic, social/emotional and career development through classroom lessons, small groups and individual counseling. I look forward to partnering with families to help provide students the tools they need to become the best version of themselves.
