I am excited to begin my 23rd year in Loudoun County and seventh year as principal and Dominion Trail Husky. I previously was the assistant principal at Emerick Elementary, Pinebrook Elementary and Arcola Elementary. Before I became an administrator, I taught, third, fourth, and fifth grades. Before that, I was a preschool teacher for 3 months. I attended Clarion University of Pennsylvania for my undergraduate work in Elementary Education and Early Childhood Development. I later attended Shenandoah University where I received my Master's Degree in Administration and Supervision. Currently, I live in Round Hill, Virginia with my wife Cory (who is a preschool teacher at Round Hill Elementary), our daughter Zoe (18 years old), son Tommy (16 years old), my son Will (13 year old), my son Nathaniel "Nate" (11 years old), and our dogs Ollie and Finley "Finn". I grew up in a small town about 10 minutes outside of Pittsburgh, PA (GO STEELERS, PENS, and BUCCO'S!), called Leetsdale and have been in Virginia since 2000. I make frequent trips to Pittsburgh to visit friends and family. My parents have retired to Florida, where both of their golf games are improving. We spend a lot of time in Cape May, NJ and I love going to the beach with my family. I also coach a 16U travel hockey team, that my son plays on, out of ION in Leesburg.
