Mrs. Mayer

Welcome Pythons! Mrs. Mayer is excited to serve as the Special Education Dean at Evergreen Mill Elementary School! In this role, she will collaborate with parents, teachers, and administrators to best meet the needs of our learners.  With the school vision at heart, Mrs. Mayer will support the development of educational plans, specialized instruction, strategies, interventions for academic achievement and social emotional growth for all children. 

 Mrs. Mayer has worked in the field of education since 1996, teaching in grades PreK-8. Mrs. Mayer holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from Florida Atlantic University, a Master’s Degree in Varying Exceptionalities in Education from Nova Southeastern University and a Post-Master’s in Educational Leadership from Lamar University.   She has a Professional Educators License in Administration and Supervision, Special Education, Elementary Education, and English as a Second Language and holds a Reading Endorsement.  

 Mrs. Mayer has lived in Loudoun County since 2012, with her husband and two children.  She is originally from Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Outside of school she enjoys spending time with family, traveling, reading, and hiking.
