Welcome to Art at Harper Park!

Each grade level of Art studies the following areas of Production: 

  Drawing
Graphic Design
Painting 
Printmaking
Sculpture
Ceramics
                                                                                   
While Art is a hands-on, studio class, we also incorporate Art History, Criticism & Judgement, and Aesthetics, so our students can enhance their "Portrait of a Graduate".  Art students also practice using the 5 C's: Critical Thinking, Creativity, Collaboration, Communication, and Contributions.
                               
Student artwork is displayed in our hallways, bulletin boards, and showcases.  We will be having a Heritage High School Cluster k-12 Art Exhibit in the spring; more detailed information to follow.
