Save the Date - Friday, August 19th - Loudoun Valley High School Events

• 9th Grade Orientation - 3:00pm - 4:00pm

  • Student and parent introduction to LVHS. 

• Open House - 4:00pm - 5:30pm

  • Teachers will be available to connect with students and families.

Course Demo Night is for students currently in grades 8-11

Date: Thursday, February 3rd from 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm. 

Location: Loudoun Valley High School

Course Demo Night is a chance for students to explore the elective courses we have here at Loudoun Valley High School. Teachers will be available to meet with students and answer questions about the variety of electives offered at Loudoun Valley High School. This event is open to rising 9th grade students through current juniors. Parent information sessions also occur throughout the evening that cover topics including graduation/sol requirements, rising senior Q&A sessions, and a look into different pathways offered through our mathematics department. 

Logistics:  

Course Demo Night will begin promptly at 6:00pm with all parents and students meeting in the LVHS Auditorium for an introduction and orientation to the evening. 

After introductions have been made, parents and students will have the opportunity to attend three 15 minute sessions of their choosing. There will be a variety of sessions offered and there are different sessions available to students and parents.

We look forward to showcasing some of the exciting course offerings we have here at LVHS.  See you on February 3rd!

There are two events that work together to help our students and families understand their scheduling options in terms of the courses offered here at Loudoun Valley High School. 

The first event is course info night.  This event is virtual and provides grade-level specific information. 

Course Info Night will take place over two days. Each virtual session will be an hour long.

• Rising 9th Grade @ 6:00pm

These sessions will be live streamed via WebEX and the link will be sent to families to view the sessions. Families will have an opportunity to ask questions during the information sessions that will be addressed by the school-based team during the sessions.

The second event is an in-person event here at Loudoun Valley High School. It is our Course Demo Night.  Course Demo Night is a chance for students to explore the elective courses we have here at Loudoun Valley High School.
