Jefferson holds a bachelor’s degree in English from Lincoln University of Pennsylvania; a master’s degree in education administration and supervision from Regent University; and a doctorate in educational leadership from Bowie State University. He also has done graduate coursework in curriculum and instruction at McDaniel College.

 

Jefferson has served as master teacher at Project Forward Leap in Philadelphia; as a curriculum reviewer for Connections Academy; as a department head/literacy coordinator for Bladensburg High School, Prince Georges County, Md., Public Schools; as an educational specialist II, Office of Turnaround Schools, Baltimore City Public Schools; as an educational specialist II, Student Support Teams, Baltimore City Public Schools; as Assistant Principal at Francis M. Wood Alternative High School, Baltimore City Public Schools; and as an educational specialist II, Office of Special Education Compliance and Investigations, Baltimore City Public Schools.

Angela Brown is excited to be with the Park View High School Family as an Assistant Principal!  As an educator her goal and main purpose has been to positively impact the lives of the students she supports.  Mrs. Brown first joined LCPS in 2009-13 and rejoined in 2015.  Mrs. Brown is a graduate of Norfolk State University, and Shenandoah University where she was honored to receive The Outstanding Graduate award, given by the staff and Alumni of SU.  

Mrs. Brown is beginning her 17th year as an educator. She prides herself on always providing her students and colleagues with a safe and equitable place to learn, work and develop personally and professionally. Mrs. Brown hopes to help cultivate an atmosphere of inclusivity and high expectation for all students, by supporting teachers and being a part of their village to reach this goal. 

Mrs. Brown lives In Jefferson County with her husband of almost 17 years and their 4 children that range from the ages of 15 to 2 years old. She enjoys serving her community, traveling, listening to music, reading and finding a spontaneous adventure! Mrs. Brown is thrilled to serve this amazing community!

Ms. Kim-marie Brown is originally from Jamaica, and she immigrated to the United States when she was 12 years old. She earned an undergraduate degree in Psychology from Florida State University. After graduation she worked at Refuge House, a shelter for survivors of domestic violence. Later she earned her Master's in School Counseling from Virginia Tech and then again returned to school earning a Master's in Educational Administration from Shenandoah University.   She has been with Loudoun county for 17 years.  She was a counselor at Heritage High School for 15 years before coming to Park View High School. She is excited to start the 2022 school year at Park View High School as the Director of School Counseling.  Ms. Brown looks forward to developing positive relationships with the staff, students and parents of Park View community.

Ms. Tania Brown was born and raised in Bridgeport, Connecticut. As a teenager, Ms. Brown was drawn to education while working as a tutor and academic counselor after school and during summer programs.  She first came to the DMV area to complete her undergraduate studies at Howard University, where she earned a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in English.  Throughout her career, Ms. Brown has had the opportunity to grow as a professional in several school districts.  She has worked as an educator in Chicago Public Schools, Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools, and San Francisco Unified School District.  While teaching and serving as an academic specialist, Ms. Brown earned two master's degrees, one from DePaul University, located in Chicago, IL, and the other from Winthrop University, located in Rock Hill, SC.  Ms. Brown began her career in the Northern Virginia area working for Manassas Park City Schools.  There, she served as the Division Literacy Specialist and an Assistant Principal.   

This is Ms. Tania Brown’s second year at Park View High School. She is honored and proud to be a Patriot!  Ms. Brown is looking forward to building relationships with the staff, students, parents and the overall Sterling community. 

For the 2023-2024 school year, Ms. Brown is the 12th grade administrator.  Additionally, she is supervising the following departments:  English, English Learner, World Languages, and the AVID Program.

Mr. Elmo Green

Mr. Elmo Green, III was born and raised in the small southern town of McRae, GA. Although education was not his first career choice, Mr. Green was the son of two career educators who served more than 38 years each. After serving in the United States Marine Corps and a number of years as a marketing director in GA, FL, AZ and WV, he moved to NOVA and followed his true 'calling' in education in 2004 as a Special Education Math teacher in Prince William County for 12 years. Being a resident of Loudoun since 2007, in 2016, he chose to serve in the same high school his 2 sons were attending, Stone Bridge HS. In 2021, he joined the Park View Patriot family as Student Support Administrator.

Mr. Green received his undergraduate degree at Valdosta State University (GA), and his Master’s Degrees at George Mason University (VA) in Special Education and Educational Leadership. Mr. Green lives in Ashburn, VA, where he loves to spend time with his wife of 30+ years, family and friends, travel, DJ on occasion, and golf.

This is Mr. Green's first year as an Assistant Principal at Park View and it continues to be an honor to serve this community by educating, motivating, inspiring, and believing in our children. Family is everything, and we take pride in building significant, meaningful, nurturing relationships with our students, staff and parents daily. "WE ARE...family!"

Mr. Jason Testerman

Mr. Jason Testerman

Mr. Testerman is entering his 12th year at Park View High School as Athletic Director. This year will be his 24th as a high school administrator. He is excited to work with our student body, teachers, and coaches to get as many students involved as possible and to make their experience as meaningful and powerful as possible.  A Ball State graduate, he also coached girls varsity volleyball and Junior Olympic volleyball for many years and coached his 15U team to a 13th place finish  in the nation in 2005. Mr. Testerman, in his free time, is an avid runner. He has completed 12 marathons over the last decade and is very active in the running community. He also likes to volunteer and is a board member of the Sterling Foundation, where he works on projects on Sterling Boulevard, including the new Gateway Signs and the Monument Wall next to Route 7. In addition, he is on PFAC, the Patient Family Advisory Council for the Schar Cancer Institute in Fairfax.
