Hello families,

Welcome to the STEP preschool at Rolling Ridge Elementary.  We are excited about school starting on August 22nd. We wanted to share some important information and dates with you. 

 *Open House:   This is a time for parents and students to visit the classroom. Date: August 20th from 9:00am to 10:30am

 * First Day of School: Thursday, August 22, 2024:  Parents will need to log into Parent Vue to find bus schedule, pick up time and location. 

  Other Important information:

All STEP families need to complete the following before the first day of school:

 1. FREE AND REDUCED LUNCH application online prior to the first day of school.

2. Please complete the Virtual First Day Packet: Virtual First Day Packet before the first day of school.

We are looking forward to meeting you and working with your child this year and we hope to see you during our orientation.

Mission (Why We Exist) 

Loudoun County Public School's Starting Towards Excellence in Preschool (STEP) program  provides preschool classes for students identified as at‐risk within the district. This program  aligns developmentally appropriate academic, social‐emotional, and nutrition curriculum to  state standards. In addition, the STEP program provides transportation and daily balanced  meals for enrolled students.
