Clinic Reminders

  • If your child has any significant medical needs, please notify the nurse, even if the school has been notified in previous school years.

  • If your child has asthma, diabetes, seizures, life threatening allergies, or other medical conditions, please pick up forms in the school office or download the forms from this website for you and your physician to complete. This will allow the school to understand and address your child’s specific medical needs.  (If your child was in Loudoun County Public Schools, these forms were sent to you at the end of school in June).

  • A parent or guardian must deliver any medicine (prescription or non-prescription) to the clinic.  Students may not transport any medicine to or from school.  Parents are responsible for picking up any unused medicine.

  • Children who have fevers should be kept at home and should be fever free for 24 hours before returning to school.

  • Please keep your Emergency Information up-to-date so that we can reach you if your child is ill or injured.

  • All 7th graders and all students new to Loudoun County will be screened for vision and hearing during their first two months of school.

  • Please be sure your child eats breakfast.  Skipping this meal is the cause of many clinic visits.

  • Check out “Clinic News” in Stone Hill's newsletter for current information on student health issues.
