Career and Technical Education Department
As a department, we recognize the need to help prepare our students to be well-trained employees in our global economy. This requires that students have the opportunity to not only learn content but have the opportunity to demonstrate hands-on learning as it applies in a "real-world" context.
Our mission is to ensure that every graduate is prepared for life beyond high school whether it is in the through joining the military, continuing with their post-secondary education, or by directly entering the workforce. CTE workplace readiness skills are aligned and support Virginia's 5 C's as well as LCPS's Deeper Learning initiative.
