Woodgrove HS Unified Mental Health Team
At Woodgrove High School, our Unified Mental Health Team (UMHT) – school counselors, a psychologist, a social worker, and a student assistance specialist – supports students' social, emotional, and behavioral development. This team of experienced mental health professionals collaborates with students, families, school staff, and external providers to foster a positive and supportive school environment. Our approach combines direct methods, such as classroom curriculum, group counseling, and individual counseling, with indirect strategies, including collaboration and consultation with staff, families, and the broader community, to enhance student success and resilience in the face of challenges.
