Welcome to Spartan Early Learning Center!
Registrations are being accepted for the 2022-2023 preschool year.
First Day of preschool is Monday October 17th, 2022 - May 4th, 2023
Registration for 2023-2024 preschool year will being in May 2023
Spartan Early Learning Center is the lab preschool at Broad Run High School. High school students interested in working with children or exploring a career in education enroll in Early Childhood classes. Under the direction of a licensed teacher, teens design and implement creative and engaging lessons that include kindergarten readiness skills - skills children need to be successful in kindergarten.
Your child must have turned three years old by March 31, 2022 to enroll for Fall 2022-2023.

2022-2023 preschool year: There is a $375 non-refundable fee for supplies for the 2 block preschool (Bears class) on high school B days. There is a $600 non-refundable fee for supplies for the 3 block preschool (Tigers Class) on high school A days. This fee is payable before the first day of preschool in October 2022. There are no other fees. The supply fee covers all supplies and materials, a healthy snack each preschool day, and possibly one field trip.
Registration for next year's preschool classes: Click here for the registration form. The completed registration form, a copy of your child’s vaccination records, and a photo of your child are required to register. Once registration is open and your paperwork is received, you will receive an email with confirmation of placement. A link for payment will be sent to you in late summer/early fall. Payment in full is due before the first day of preschool, an exact due date will be included with the link for payment.
Points to Keep in Mind:
Please make sure your child is well rested before arriving at Spartan Center.
Spartan Center will not dispense medications.An up-to-date immunization record is required, as well as medical and insurance information.
***All Spartan Center preschoolers must be self-toileting. If a “potty” accident occurs, you will be called to pick up your child.***
A healthy snack is provided.
If your child is not feeling well, please allow him/her to stay at home.
During inclement weather: if Loudoun County Public Schools are closed,
Spartan Center is closed.
Two-hour delay- Preschool is closed.
Spartan Center will be closed during all school holidays, during a planning week in January, and if the high block schedule is re-ordered for a special event. Parents will be notified of any schedule changes. Please email Ms.Essex-Bends if you have any questions Email Ms.Essex-Bends

Below are links to the daily schedule for preschool. Each preschool day is 2 high school blocks for the Bears class. The children enjoy a short free play time between high school blocks.
