ACADEMIES OF LOUDOUN CELBRATION

Thursday, May 30th, 2024 7pm at ION International Training Center

Freedom seniors attending the Academies may pick up their Cap & Gown in the Main Office at Freedom High School beginning May 28th.

Attendance at Freedom's Mandatory Rehearsal on Friday, June 7th from 9AM - 3PM is still REQUIRED to walk during Freedom's graduation on Saturday, June 15th.

Friday, June 7, 2024 9:00AM - 3:00PM at Freedom High School  

This is MANDATORY for ALL seniors.  The day includes an awards ceremony, senior luncheon, graduation practice, cap & gown distribution.

Seniors must report to the Freedom Auditorium by 9:00AM and we should be done by 2:30PM.

Date: Saturday, June 15, 2024  7:00 PM

Arrival Time: 6:00 PM - Doors open; Graduates report to the loading dock at 6 PM with caps, gown, tassel, and stoles only. (No phones or personal items)  Parents & guests enter through main doors.  

Ceremony begins promptly at 7:00 PM - Please allow plenty of time for traffic and parking congestion.  Security will direct you where to park.

Location: EagleBank Arena, George Mason University, 4500 Patriot Cir, Fairfax, VA 22030  Concessions (food & drinks) will be available for purchase during the ceremony. Please click here for EagleBank Arena Security Policy

Tickets: Tickets are NOT required for entry. There is NO LIMIT to the number of family members or guests attending.  There is no need to reserve handicap accessible seating.  There is ample same level seating (no stairs) for all elderly or disabled guests.  Please see an EagleBank Arena usher and they will escort you to accessible seating in the arena. 

Graduate Attire: Dress is business professional.  Shorts, sandals, athletic wear, pajamas, flip-flops, etc… are not appropriate attire.  Please CLICK HERE for the complete guidelines for graduation day attire.  Graduates must leave all personal belongings including keys, cell phones, purses, cameras, etc.. with family members prior to entering the loading dock.  Any personal items attempted to be brought into the ceremony, including cell phones, will be collected prior to the ceremony, labeled, bagged and returned to graduates at the end of the ceremony.  This will delay their exit from the ceremony.

Honor Cords/Stoles: Seniors should contact their honor society or club sponsor to make arrangements to pick up honor cords/stoles by the end of the day, Friday June 7th.  Only school-provided, nationally recognized, stoles supplied by a Freedom faculty sponsor are allowed.

Professional Photographer: Victor O'Neill Studios will be taking photos of the graduation ceremony, including photos of the seniors crossing the stage. Photos will be available 72 hours after the graduation date. Visit Photoday to purchase photos.

Live Streaming: The ceremony will be live-streamed for those who cannot attend in person.  The ceremony will be professionally recorded, edited and available for purchase.  A copy of the graduation video will be available for order.
