Course Offerings:

ESOL Classes:  Basic English classes of five levels from beginner to advanced. Conveniently meet weekdays and weeknights in libraries, community centers, churches and schools across Loudoun County. Placement in the appropriate class level is determined by a short speaking and writing test at the time of registration.

GED Preparation:  Classes in Math, Science, Writing, Language Arts and Social Studies are offered on an on-going basis to help students prepare for the GED test. Individualized assistance with particular subjects is also available through the tutoring program.

Tutoring:  Individualized tutoring sessions are available for those who need work in a specific area or for those who missed the deadline for classes. This includes conversational practice, citizenship test preparation, TOEFL test preparation, Business English for Professionals, Professional Certification Support, and other tailored instruction as needed.

Financial Literacy:  Free workshops designed to help you understand the banking and financial world, plan for savings, retirement and home ownership are offered at various times during the year.

Health Literacy:  Free workshops designed to help you understand and take control of your health.

Jobsite Literacy: We partner with local businesses and organizations to provide work-focused English instruction at the work site.

Citizenship Classes: Free classes using materials in English that focus on reading and writing that will prepare students for the citizenship test.
