Rental and Mortgage Relief Program

The county may pay up to six months of rent or a mortgage.

Limited Rental Assistance Program:

Families who have a lease or are renting a room can apply.

If a family is subleasing, they do not qualify.

Questions:

What if I do not have a lease because I rent a room? Please submit a letter from your landlord along with a signed written statement indicating that you are renting a room, the monthly rental amount and your landlord’s name. Your landlord will need to complete the W-9.

What if I sublease, and I’m not on the actual lease? Unfortunately, you are not eligible for this program.

Helps families who are experiencing homeless and those not experiencing homelessness who need rental or other assistance.

Applicants must be Loudoun County residents facing a crisis. Call 703-771-3371 for more information.
