Hello families! My name is Evy Bowman, and I am your Family Liaison at the Groves.

It is a pleasure to be the bridge between Forest Grove Elementary and you. As a former educator and a Hispanic immigrant parent myself, I see the role of Family Liaison as an important component of your child’s education. I worked as a teacher, case manager, court advocate and instructional assistant. I hope I can bring all this experience to the Forest Grove families.

My role is to help parents get more engaged in your child’s school, so you feel welcomed engaging with our school community, as parents are an essential part of children’s education.

A key part of this is being the go-to resource, not only for the school but also to help you access services outside the school. If there is something I cannot help you with, I will be happy to refer you to the right person or service.
