The School-Based Instructional Facilitators at Forest Grove work side-by-side with classroom teachers and teacher teams to support classroom instruction. Some roles and responsibilities of our Instructional Facilitators include to:
Design and deliver quality professional development on the utilization of effective instructional strategies and bring evidence-based practices into classrooms by working with teachers and other school leaders.
Teach, model, facilitate, and build teacher capacity to utilize research-based best practices within the school's instructional program to support student learning, with a focus on literacy and math.
Assist teachers with the collection and analysis of data results; collaborate with school staff to place students in the appropriate intervention groups.
Utilize effective coaching strategies based on research and best practice.
