Hello Falcons! My name is Mrs. Waffle and I am so excited to begin my fifth year as a School-Based Instructional Facilitator here at Forest Grove! I'm so excited to be supporting our teachers and students this year!

This will be my 38th year of teaching here in Loudoun County Public Schools. I have taught special education at Sully, Sterling and Countryside Elementary. I have also served students as a Precision Teacher for LCPS, providing reading fluency instruction at the elementary level. Prior to coming to Forest Grove as a SBIF, I served in an administrative role as an Instructional Facilitator for Specialized Reading, working with multiple elementary, middle and high schools in the Sterling area.

A little bit about me – I have been married and living in Sterling, VA for 37 years, and I have two grown children, Emily and Jay...and I am a Grandma to a 17-month old grandson!! I also have 2 miniature  Australian Shepherds named Mick and Ruby! I love being outdoors, especially near water, as well as taking strolls through vintage and antique stores. I also enjoy scrapbooking and taking photos.

I am so thankful for the opportunities that are here at Forest Grove Elementary and I’m looking forward to helping teachers and students to reach their goals!
