The Office of Assessment Services is responsible for division level training and oversight of the Virginia Assessment Program, the administration of the Cognitive Abilities Test, the ACCESS for ELLs language proficiency assessment, the Measures of Academic Progress (MAP) tests, PSAT test administration and Advanced Placement (AP) test administration. We work collaboratively with the Research Office and School Improvement to provide assessment data and reports, as well as the Office of Special Education and the English Language Learners Program to ensure accurate and equitable assessment opportunities for all students.
