Welcome to Liberty Elementary School!  Our school is on the cutting edge of instruction through our STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) integration throughout our classrooms and curriculum and our emphasis on deeper learning each and every day.  Liberty Elementary is truly preparing our students in developing 21st century skills.  We are very proud that Liberty was selected by the Future Education Technology Conference as a 2018 STEM Excellence School.

Hello students and parents! My name is Courtney Peckham, and I am thrilled to be entering my eleventh year as a member of the Liberty Elementary School family. I am originally from Connecticut and moved down to Virginia to attend James Madison University (Go Dukes!) where I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education as well as a Master of Arts in Teaching Degree. In 2019, I also completed a program in Administrative Leadership through George Mason University. Prior to becoming the Assistant Principal at Liberty, I taught 5th grade for 7 years before becoming the Dean here in 2021. I'm excited to continue working with our Liberty families and community!
