Family Liaison

Family Liaison Mission

The primary role of the Family Liaison is to empower parents/families to become active participants in the education of their children in three ways:

  • Access to school information, resources, and opportunities for engagement.

  • Access to and education of school-issued technology and learning management systems.

  • Education and resources to become an independent member of their community in order to further support their child’s education.

 How we accomplish this mission:

  • Fostering trust between families and the educational community

  • Encouraging and facilitating family involvement in their child’s education, through access and understanding of school community, technology, and engagement opportunities.

  • Fostering higher academic achievement through education of what, how, where, and when to acquire needed resources in the community.

  • Facilitating parent-school communication through understanding and use of proper contacts, building relationships, and engagement with school staff.
