Many of you were not part of our community when we sadly lost one of our own beloved teachers, Scott Hackett. Mr. Hackett was an amazing person, friend, family man, and a fabulous 4th grade teacher for years here at Little River. He lost a hard fought battle with heart issues. We plan to dedicate a mural in his honor covering the front skylight near the 4th/5th grade classrooms. Although you might not have known him directly, he still has a huge influence around our school and community, with many of his students currently at JML or FHS.
