Lightning Lead Up Cohort

Our Mission

The mission of the Lightning Lead-up Cohort is to guide students through personalized learning in an employment-centered environment while providing academic guidance through a custom-designed curriculum. Students will be active members in their learning, assisting with project development and participating in hands-on learning experiences. Cross-curricular project development will help students apply real world thinking to solve problems in a solutions-focused, fast-paced environment. Certifications, job skills development and networking will be prioritized through active learning applications.

Student Profiles

Students chosen for Lightning Lead Up have shown academic potential and personal growth. Collaboration with the LLUC team will allow students to explore and develop their ideas for post-high school implementation. Students will grow in experience, exposure, confidence and leadership throughout this program. The LLUC Team will ensure that students will leave high school with a well developed plan and an extensive portfolio of career readiness skills and professional networking connections.
