Hello Watson Mountain Families!  My name is Robin Reaves Burke, and I am your Family Liaison.  I have been part of the Loudoun County Public Schools family for many years as a parent, Equity Committee member, former MSAAC Board member, After School Enrichment Provider (Bricks 4 Kidz) and avid volunteer.  My husband, Steve and I are the proud parents of Clinton (Briar Woods HS and AOL ‘23) who is a 2-year at the University of Virginia majoring in Aerospace Engineering.

As your Family Liaison, I am a school employee, not a volunteer.  I work to bridge the gap between home and school by helping families get the information and resources they need. Empowering all students to make meaningful contributions to the world.

What is a Family Liaison?

A Family Liaison is a parent--just like you--that is employed part time by LCPS. The primary role of the Family Liaison is to empower parents to become active participants in the education of their children.

What is the Mission of the Family Liaison?

The mission of the Family Liaison is to empower parents by assisting with communication between school and home while positively influencing student achievement. The Family Liaison helps parents get the information and support they need to help their children to be academically and socially successful in school.
