What do we do? Quite simply, we work together as Parents and Teachers to create a community where our students can learn, grow and excel.

How do we do it?

The Algonkian PTA provides support to teachers and students in three basic categories:

1. Classroom – subscriptions, educational supplies, stipends for teachers and technology

2. Experience – Cultural Arts including assemblies and after-school programs, 5th grade Student Service Corp, and enrichment

3. Community Building – Free and fun activities such as International Night, Monster Mash, Donuts and Muffins and much more!

ALL of our activities including fundraisers are created with the students in mind. Walk-a-thon and BINGO Nights are fun, can’t miss events! 

Research shows that students do better when parents are involved. And, there are many opportunities to share your time and talent – both big and small. You can start by joining our PTA. Come to a meeting and see what we are all about. Ask questions. Share your ideas. You won’t regret it!
