Dual Enrollment Information

What is Dual Enrollment? 

An opportunity for students to earn college credits while in high school. At BRHS, students can do so through Northern Virginia Community College (NVCC), George Mason University (GMU), and Shenandoah University.

What DE courses are offered at BRHS?

English 12, US History, US Government, Spanish 5, French 5, Music Appreciation, Multivariable Calculus 

(Note: Independent Science Research DE is offered through GMU, Geographical Information Systems if offered through JMU, Teacher Cadet DE is offered through Shenandoah)

Steps To Enroll In A Nova Dual

Enrollment Course

NOTE: Students who are already enrolled in a DE course can skip to Step #2

1.) Contact your school counselor about taking a Dual Enrollment course

2.) Apply to NOVA, Loudoun Campus

3.) Enroll in NOVA's Dual Enrollment Portal

4.) Meet Qualifying Test Scores

These steps must be completed by May 1, 2024. If they are not completed by May 1st, you will be moved to an alternate class.
