Hello, I am Jenny Harrop, a career-changing teacher who is very proud and excited to teach with Loudoun County's gifted education team.  I teach both SEARCH and FUSION. I am beginning my sixteenth year of teaching in Loudoun County.    I was a charter member of the faculty at Rosa Lee Carter Elementary School where I taught 4th grade for eight years before moving to the gifted department.  I have a Bachelor’s of Arts degree from Smith College, a Master’s of Business Administration from Georgetown University,  a Masters of Education from Marymount University, and my Gifted Endorsement from the State of Virginia.  Before teaching, I worked in economic research, management consulting, and internet marketing for America Online and Weather Bug. During the summer, I love to travel, read, swim, and this year I am learning tennis.  This year I am looking forward to working with your children to develop and enhance critical and creative thinking skills.
