Mr. Frye is a graduate of Loudoun County Public Schools. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education and Mathematics from Shepherd University. He has a Master’s degree in Administration from George Mason University. Mr. Frye has been teaching for 34 years. He started his career in Fairfax County at Rocky Run Intermediate School, where he taught for three months until he was hired by LCPS. For the past 33 years he has taught here at Emerick. Prior to the growth spurt in the county, he also shared time with Waterford, Hillsboro, Lucketts, and Round Hill Elementary. Mr. Frye has also been a coach at Loudoun Valley High School for both football and baseball.

Welcome to Physical Education!
The Loudoun County Public School elementary physical education curriculum is a developmental program designed to enhance student confidence in movement, balance, fine and gross motor control, and general physical vigor. The physical education specialist teaches physical education two days a week for fifty minutes.

Mrs. Clark is excited to be back at Emerick for another great school year! Mrs. Clark is starting her 19th year teaching Elementary Physical Education in Loudoun County. She is a graduate of Virginia Tech. In her free time, Mrs. Clark can be seen running around town with one of her dogs, being active with her family, or cheering on her local Washington teams or her Hokies!
