Please use this information and websites to help in your decision to rent or purchase a stringed instrument.  Renting is strongly encouraged since quality string instruments are very expensive.

Please consider using one of the recommended luthiers for renting or buying. All of the recommended companies listed are competitive in pricing and quality. Luthiers specialize in string instruments.  They are able to custom set bridges and do repairs on site.  If you choose another company to rent or buy from, please be aware that you may need to spend additional money on repairs.  If you need me to look at your instrument to make sure it is a quality string instrument, please have your child bring it in for inspection.
