Mr. Jerry Hull
Hello MCCS Families!
My name is Gerald Hull, but people usually call me Jerry. I am originally from Pittsburgh, PA. I attended Westminster College and met my future wife while there. I came to MCCS with 26 years of experience in education. My wife and I originally moved to Fauquier County in the summer of 2000, and I began my career teaching sixth grade science for 4 years. I was also a high school track coach and a sponsor for several after school clubs. After that I taught fifth grade for 16 years where I was involved in planning and implementing a houses system, creating resources for the PBIS team, running deejay duty for countless school dances, and organizing many talent shows. During COVID I became an elementary behavior interventionist at 3 elementary schools. In this role I implemented restorative practices and created social emotional resources with children ages 4 through 11. Before coming to MCCS I had returned to the sixth-grade science classroom. In addition to my many years in education, I am also an educational singer-songwriter and content creator on YouTube. I am the loving husband to my wife Kristy, who teaches ESL learners in Fauquier County and the proud father of three boys, ages 18, 13, and 10. I bring many experiences and ideas to MCCS, and I am proud to be part of the team.
