On Thursday, June 13, the Round Hill Fifth Grade Students celebrated their six-year elementary school journey with a Promotion Ceremony. The Boy Scouts presented the flags, Girl Scouts recited the pledge of allegiance, Lukas Gerberick performed our National Anthem on guitar, and Darwin Mirhosseini played the piano during the processional. Recognitions were announced for our Spelling Bee winner and DAR award winner, Isaac Den Herder, and the Round Hill Women's Club award winner, Sydney Schuman. Students with high grades and SOL scores were awarded the Gold and Silver President's Award. The Art, Music, and PE teachers also awarded students in their subjects. Each fifth grade teacher presented the students with their certificate. To end the show, there was a video showcasing photos of our fifth graders from their early childhood through this school year. The students also created a reflection slideshow that represented each students' favorite memories of Round Hill. Congratulations, Fifth Grade, on six amazing years! Good luck in middle school!
