Athletic Training

Announcements & News

Any student interested in athlethic training or sports medicine should see Ms. Kress. Please check out the Athletic Training Student Aid page for more details.

Athletes please remember that if you go to the emergency room or to the doctor for any injury or illness during the sports season that you need to bring a note from the doctor stating whether you are cleared to participate in sports or not.  You will not be able to participate in your sport until this note has been given to the certified athletic trainer!!!

Please make sure you are reporting your injuries to the athletic trainer, if you don't report the injuries I can't help you get better and back to the playing field.

Tips For Athletes

What Is A Concussion?

A concussion is a brain injury!

It is caused by a bump or blow to the head.

It can change the way your brain normally works.

It can occur during practices or games in any sport.

It can happen even if you haven't been knocked out.

It can be serious even if you've just been "dinged".

Always report any suspected head injuries to the athletic trainer immediately!!!
