Parent Liaison

A Parent Liaison is a Loudoun County Public Schools staff member who works to help bridge the gap between home and school by helping parents get the information and support they need to ensure their child’s academic and social success.

Parents sometimes feel uneasy about sharing their questions or concerns with teachers and school administration. Because good communication between home and school is a vital part of your child's academic success, a Parent Liaison can listen to your concerns and work with you to make sure your situation, questions, and point of view are expressed and understood. A Parent Liaison will help and support you when you need to find ways to resolve any issues that may be hindering your child's success at Tuscarora.

The primary role of the Parent Liaison is to empower parents to become active participants in the education of your children.

Tuscarora Parent Liaison, Carolina Florido, is here to provide you with whatever information, help, or support you and your child may need throughout the school year. She is here to support you at Tuscarora or in our community.

TBD can be located in the main office. You can reach her at 571-252-1900 or click Contact by E-mail .

Your Tuscarora Parent Liaison wants to ensure that you understand what you can do to get involved, stay informed, and provide resources and assistance to help your child do his or her best.
